Clocktower

Two works created by local artist Rette P, and Murmansk based artist Ilya Baidak in 2017. The project was part of Arctic Street Summit 2017 and the artists worked together in the concept development phase. Both coming from the arctic region but from very different cultures they attempted to find common denominators in their cultures and painted one side each of the municipality clocktower. They chose to paint each their own version of the capeline fish with traditional patterns and drawing methods from their own culture.
