Hola Utopia II (Das fehlende Drittel)

There is a political message associated with this mural. The apparently missing part of the picture represents one third of the rent to be paid by the residents. This money is distributed by the Vonovia residential group to the shareholders and is therefore not available to finance affordable housing. The red line in the otherwise empty third of the picture connects to the mountain peaks, but symbolizes the success curve of the exchange-oriented company and thus counteracts the ideal world shown in the main picture. With the mural, CF is also protesting against 'artwashing', the attempt by some corporations to improve their reputation by sponsering colorful walls.
