Full title: Theorie in Hamburg, NÄHE FERN gesehen, FERNE nahgesehen, WELT GESCHEHEN, WELT VERSTEHEN. The impressive mural was painted by A.R. Penck and Helge Leiberg at the library of Hamburg University (1989, 18 x 25 meter - but most time of the year hidden behind a tree). A.R. Penck aka Ralf Winkler was part of the "Jungen Wilden" - generation of young painters in the early 1980ies, who behaved spectacular, direct and extreme.
