artistraman“My name is Joker” - I call this mural complete today. I am so moved by the joker played so intensely by Heath Ledger. I so wanted to paint him some day. This is a tribute to Heath, all the batman comics that I found so fascinating as a child. In this piece, I added the title of a 1960s Hindi movie “Mera naam joker” which means “My name is Joker”. It is written in my mother tongue Hindi. So it is also a tribute to Raj Kapoor who played Joker in the classic movie. I combined my love for Bollywood and Hollywood in this piece.
