Rocketfish

“Rocketfish”, Auf der Rampe, Goch from Piranha from Duisburg as part of the “Goch history meets StreetArt” festival organized by Benjamin Taag.

The framework of the festival is a historical scavenger hunt by the Heimatverein Goch e.V.

As alyssbrandt puts it so beautifully, “The rocketfish has found its natural habitat in Goch”, but unfortunately the piranhas are already there!

For years, Sielmann, Cousteau, Grzimek and Hans Haas all looked in vain for it in the wrong place, namely on or in the water. In vain, because he likes to perform in places that are urban art hotspots!

With this length it would be a contender for the Guinness Book of Records as the longest rocketfish ever seen, but it's no feat either, because it's the only one who has ever been seen!

The Rocketfish is considered to be very shy, as is its master, who would like to remain anonymous! That the artist moves so far from the water means something!
