Welcome To Calton

Located at the corner of Abercromby Street, and Millroad Street.

This is the second Welcome to Calton mural to be located on this wall.

It pays homage to the large weavers industry, that once thrived in the area. It also shows nearby landmarks, such as the famous Barras Market, and the stunning Doulton Fountain outside the People’s Palace.

The artist is unknown, as is the date of creation. The oldest picture found of it is the 26th May 2013.

Note : There is some graffiti on the left side of the mural.
