Wulver - Commonly mistaken for Shetland Celtic folklore the Wulver was actually created by an author in the 1930s and as time went by tales transformed to include it amongst much older lore. I kind of like the idea of creative whispers becoming part of history.
Said to have the head of a Wolf and the body of a man, the Wulver was largely known to be of kind temperament as long as left alone to sit on his rock and fish. Sometimes sharing the fish with locals who showed him kindness.
