Alien-mostro spaziale

“Alien, mostro spaziale” is another tribute to master Carlo Rambaldi painted for @gherardiilvillaggiodelcinema 2024 edition. Based on the terrifying creature born from the mastermind H.R. Giger, the Alien was brought on the screen on 1979 by Ridley Scott. Carlo Rambaldi won an Oscar for bringing to life that creature.

I tried to capture the disturbing presence of the creature along with a reproduction of the sketches Rambaldi drew to study the mechanisms to animate the maquette.
