George

Bij George, voorheen bekend als 'George and the Bear', vind je tweedehands en nieuwe vinylplaten in zowat alle genres. In de platenwinkel kan je naar muziek luisteren en genieten van een koffie, biertje of frisdrank.

Er regelmatig expo's, live optredens en dj-sets georganiseerd en de kans bestaat dat je er een Limburgse graffitiartiest tegen het lijf loopt. In de zomer is er ook een gezellig buitenterras.

Leuk detail: de letters 'recordshop' werden geschilderd door Jan Rosius a.k.a. Deejoohcee.

In het achtergelegen Briteboy Vintage kan je terecht voor de betere vintage kledij en accessoires.

At George, formerly known as “George and the Bear”, you can find second-hand and new vinyl records in just about every genre. In the record shop, you can listen to music and enjoy a cup of coffee, a beer or a soft drink.

There are regular exhibitions, live performances and DJ sets, and you might even bump into a Limburg based graffiti artist. In summer, there is also a cosy outdoor terrace.
