Street art immortalising the wonderful Chrissy Amphlett. Chrissy was the lead singer for Divinyls, one of Australia’s leading rock bands in the 80s and 90s. She was such a unique and talented rock vocalist, I loved her and their music.
Chrissy grew up in Geelong, and was taken far too early in 2013 at the age of 53 after a long battle with breast cancer.
This piece is by Glen Smith and is in Dennys Place. The “It’s a fine line” wording is from the Divinyls song Pleasure and Pain, “It’s a fine line between pleasure and pain”.
