Description
This large, bright street painting shows Popeye the Sailor. The artist drew him with a tough, detailed face and his famous pipe. It mixes old cartoon style with modern graffiti look. The painting uses mostly blue and gray colors. It connects the city's sea history with a famous cartoon character.

I was always interested in traditional art since my father is a painter, but when I was in high school I came across the article about Banksy and realized art can be found not only on canvas and in art galleries, but also on streets. Ever since I’m a keen street art hunter :)
