Located on the historic firehouse in White Springs, Florida’s Living Giant is a tribute to the American alligator as a keystone species within Florida’s ecosystems. The mural reimagines the alligator as a living landmass, rising from the swamp, providing a home for a diverse range of native wildlife. Commissioned by the White Springs Historic Preservation Society, Hamilton County, and the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation, this piece celebrates both the region’s natural heritage and the importance of conservation.
