New mural project "And you, what boat are you from?, Acrylic on a 15 x 6.5 m wall, for the mural project in the El Boquetillo neighborhood, by the Fuengirola City Council. A beautiful project that I have the pleasure of participate, along with great artists.
With the theme of the sea, I have expressed my experiences as a child. The seine and codend fishing gear, which I saw on the beach of La Rada or in the port, with its seafaring people. The relationship between grandmother and grandson, transmission of values of who we are, our tradition.
The teamwork of the codend men; the beauty and strength of the women of Andalusia; the "guardian" rower watching over ours.
The richness of the Mediterranean Sea expressed in the basket full of local species: mullet, sardines, sea bream, snapper, etc. In the background the sea and the Fuengirola castle.
My poetic song to Fuengirola, land of my grandparents:
FUENGIROLA
The sea is carried away
before your coast
feeling the ancient stone
as your own.
The sea embraces
beloved lover
the sources of your land,
hunches of water
of your long life.
Sea and land,
Eternal Fuengirola.

Nuevo proyecto mural "Y tú, ¿de qué barca eres?, Acrílico sobre muro de 15 x 6.5 m., para el proyecto muralistico en el Barrio de El Boquetillo, por el Ayuntamiento de Fuengirola. Un proyecto precioso del que tengo el placer de participar, junto a grandes artistas.
Con la temática del mar, he expresado mis vivencias de niño. Las artes de pesca de jábega y el copo, que veía en la playa de La Rada o en el puerto, con sus gentes de la mar. La relación de la abuela y nieto, transmisión de valores de lo que somos, nuestra tradición.
El trabajo en equipo de los hombres del copo; la belleza y la fuerza de la mujer de Andalucia; el remero "guardián" velando por lo nuestro.
La riqueza del mar Mediterráneo expresado en la cesta llena de especies locales: salmonetes, sardinas, besugos, pargos, etc. De fondo el.mar y el castillo de Fuengirola.
Mi canto poético a Fuengirola, tierra de mis abuelos:
FUENGIROLA
El mar se arrebata
ante tu costa
sintiendo la piedra antigua
como propia.
El mar abraza
amante amado
las fuentes de tu tierra,
pálpitos de agua
de tu vida extensa.
Mar y Tierra,
Fuengirola eterna.
