Foundations of Forbes

This large mural along Hughes Lane reflects on the notion of strength displayed by the Forbes community and their perseverance during the floods in 2022. The gum tree is prominently depicted as a strong, deeply rooted structure and is surrounded by abstract flowing sections made from abstract shapes, spelling out 'Forbes'. Several children with the assistance of Sam Turner assisted in the creation of this artwork through workshops.
