ESKALADA ETXAURIN

Climbing has always been an essential part of the culture of our people.

The first climbing school in Navarra was created in Etxauri. Its cliffs are very frequented by climbers, and its walls have more than 700 routes of all levels.

However, this sporting activity has its limitations, in the part of the rock declared a Wildlife Protection Area.

The location of the rocks, on the border between the Mediterranean and Euro-Siberian regions, showing strength typical of both bioregions, makes them very interesting for climbing.
