This Urban Art workshop for the elderly emerged as a challenge to bring urban art to the older people. And the goals were achieved: proving that active aging and solidarity between generations makes more and more sense; demonstrating that this art has the power to increase, promote and value the access to the contemporary art; bring the elderly closer to a form of artistic expression that is usually associated to younger people and demonstrate that age is just a number.
The local community got involved, got to work and created a mural that was developed in a laid-back work environment and with active participation.
