The "Palestine Key" mural by Colombian street artist Bastardilla caused severe international controversy and was painted over in October 2023.

Bastardilla depicted a person wearing a headscarf tightly gripping a prominent golden key in their right hand. In Palestinian culture, the key represents the Nakba (diaster) of 1948. It symbolizes the homes left behind and the right of return for refugees.
