Villa RÜ (Hall of Fame South)

Description

This HoF is one of those everyone can spray on spontaneously and without asking for permission. Villa Rü is a youth and citizens' center in Giradetstraße 21, in Essen Rüttenscheid. It is provided by the City of Essen and meant to be a contact point for young families, children and youths. The wall along the footpath from Giradetstraße to Christinenpark is one of the Halls of Fame in Essen. The wall is only a few meters long but nevertheless a very active spot. Always worth a visit.

In 2013 I started with a new hobby. In the beginning it was difficult to get reliable information how to find streetart in public space. In 2016, I had the idea of sharing my information with other street art enthusiasts and started my blog “Streetartwalks”. When I found out about this new street art community at the beginning of 2018, I was immediately on board.
