Mural due to Gallerage
Description
On Friday, October 7, 2022, the opening of a BYRDO exhibition took place at Gallerage. In keeping with this exhibition, the Dortmund-based artist created the large-scale facade artwork in the backyard, which he himself titled online as “mural @gallerage part I // Essen 2022.” At Gallerage (a small, independent art space in the heart of Essen), BYRDO exhibited studio works on canvas alongside the large outdoor mural.

In 2013 I started with a new hobby. In the beginning it was difficult to get reliable information how to find streetart in public space. In 2016, I had the idea of sharing my information with other street art enthusiasts and started my blog “Streetartwalks”. When I found out about this new street art community at the beginning of 2018, I was immediately on board.
