Located in Esch-sur-Alzette in the South of Luxembourg, the Kulturfabrik (KuFa) reflects itscity and its region. It is an environment of stone and metal, the architecture a mirror of itspast rooted in the end of the 19th century and the interwar period, a time when industries wereexpanding their horizons and borders. It is alsoan image of its diverse and uprooted population,thus conveying a natural sense of openness. KuFa is a place to meet, welcome, reintegrate, stay,create, train... It embodies all of these activities that are also reflected in the various art forms (music, theater, exhibitions, visual arts, dance, literature, cinema...) seen in about 250 events per year, some of which take place in the Greater-Region and other European countries. Another aspect to be highlighted: KuFa is an experiment insustainable development and therefore attuned to the effects of a constantly changing world.
