Woven Culture

The sculpture on this bridge connecting Alameda Avenue to Franklin Drive incorporates the theme of the various cultures woven together in "The Borderland" as El Paso is known. A cactus gleaming with jewels is backed up with bands of serape colors, representing the native arts of this region. Creative Kids is a local nonprofit art organization seeking to empower youth in the area of visual arts.
