Proud Streetlight

To create "Proud Streetlight" installation, SPEKTR artists partnered with "Gorsvet" municipal budgetary institution and straightened out one of the streetlights in the garden square next to "Cosmos" cinema and concert hall. The idea of the artwork is explained on the signage beside it: "For as long as humanity has existed, there have been people who have dared to defy their contemporaries. To say "yes" in the face of a million "nos". To argue that the Earth is round, and all of us on it are equal. And when humankind faces global challenges, they refuse to bow under the weight of those circumstances". Bringing this project to life became possible thanks to support from "Tochka" bank for entrepreneurs and enterprises.
