The Leap

Kazan-based artist Damir Bozik created this mural in the technique of pointillism. This mural tells a story of a sable, a predatory animal in the process of hunting a hazel grouse chick. But that is not the main focus here. The sable is leaping after its prey, and it's clear that it will catch the chick. But from the other side, the next link of the food chain is seen: the talons of an eagle seconds away from grabing the sable. Natural selection in the circle of life. This mural makes a rather naive, but valuable point about our life.
