"This painting has a lot of meaning for health care workers and the friends and families of the deceased depicted. This man “Howey” committed suicide last November and was good friends with the owner of the building. The owner wanted to memorialize his friend while paying tribute to the healthcare workers. The bee hive is the symbolic work place of the worker bees (healthcare) and the angel represents the fallen. There has been no shortage of hardships and tragedies through 2020 from the George Floyd incident to a global pandemic, bombings and chaos ensuing. This piece was meant to express the imperfection and state of the world." -Jordoh @GraffitiSalad
