Gauklerbrunnen

Description

The Gauklerbrunnen is a striking, terraced fountain complex located in the heart of Dortmund's Stadtgarten, close to City Hall and the Stadtgarten subway station. Completed in 1982 to celebrate the city's 1100th anniversary, it was designed by the renowned sculptor Prof. Eberhard Linke using bronze, concrete, and clinker bricks.

In 2016, I had the idea of sharing my information with other street art enthusiasts and started my blog “Streetartwalks”. When I found out about this new street art community at the beginning of 2018, I was immediately on board.
