Description
The mural by artist Bom K, ‘Rémission’, in Viviez (2023): precise in form, expressive in the scene itself, this figurative work hints at the confrontation between humanity and nature, or conversely, the hand that gives life and unites with nature. On closer inspection of the drawing, the branches passing through the fingers or the palms of the hands are lightly tinted with colour, as are the roots and the tangle of branches. A true work of art created with spray paint by a genius of the medium.
Through his hyperrealistic treatment and the subtlety of his shading, Bom.K creates an almost tactile atmosphere, where skin and vegetation seem to share the same substance. The composition, centred on the gesture, invites the viewer to reflect on humanity’s place in relation to the living world and on the fragility of this balance. This mural is fully in keeping with a committed contemporary artistic approach, sensitive to the relationships between humans and their environment.
