For the love of reading

Polly Johnstone (aka Miss Polly) is a Northern Territory based visual artist and arts educator. Her art practice includes oil paintings, acrylic paintings, watercolour paintings, pen and ink drawings, aquarelles and graphite. In this mural she depicts a young lady reading a book adorned with the phrases: “A child who reads is an adult who thinks” and “The world belongs to those who read”.
