Lavanderas

The mural pays homage to the ancient tradition of the women who lived in the area, who went to the river to wash their clothes, accompanied by an instrument to rub their clothes, called a 'panera'.
It was a very complex task but it was the only way to keep their clothes clean when there were no washing machines.
Tradition already lost that is recovered through this mural.
