The wall features one of D*Face’s iconic couples, clad in vintage moto-racing gear. This artwork stems from a recent body of work that was inspired by the concept of ‘target fixation’, a phenomenon experienced by pilots and drivers, whereby their focus is so intensely set on avoiding an obstacle in their path that they end up colliding with it instead. Here, D*Face is re-applying this strange but oddly human characteristic to the world of romance and relationships.
Recognized as one of the UK's leading Urban Contemporary artists, D'Face (Dean Stockton) has been at the forefront since his first sold-out show in 2005. Raised in London, he developed an early passion for graffiti, skate culture, and punk aesthetics. Inspired by artists like Jim Phillips and Vernon Courtlandt Johnson, he began in graphic design before moving towards a more independent artistic path.
After learning screen printing, he created his own stickers and turned the city streets into his canvas. His bold, clean style quickly gained attention across London. Today, he continues to work with the same anarchic spirit, and his murals and iconic D"Dog logo are now integral to British urban art.
