Un pinsapo para mañana

A 10 x 10 meter mural was created in Yunquera, in the heart of the Sierra de las Nieves mountain range. The artwork pays homage to the Spanish fir (pinsapo) and all the people of the town who have worked for years caring for this tree, so vital to their environment.

The hands represent those who have lived and worked the land, while in the background appears the landscape surrounding Yunquera, with the Spanish firs extending up to the mountains. It serves as a reminder of the importance of protecting the nature that the townspeople value and cherish so much.

"The best thing we can leave behind is a landscape better than the one we found."

Mural de 10 × 10 metros realizado en Yunquera, en plena Sierra de las Nieves. La obra homenajea al pinsapo y a todas las personas del pueblo que han trabajado durante años cuidando este árbol tan importante para su entorno.

Las manos representan a quienes han vivido y trabajado el campo, mientras que al fondo aparece el paisaje que rodea Yunquera, con los pinsapos extendiéndose hasta la sierra. Un recordatorio de la importancia de proteger la naturaleza que tanto valoran y cuidan en el pueblo.
