Mural about the Associação Académica de Coimbra (AAC) Football Club.
AAC-OAF, commonly referred to as Académica, is a Portuguese professional football club based in the parish of Santo António dos Olivais, Coimbra, Portugal. It was once one of the biggest clubs in Portuguese football, having recently begun a downward spiral and is currently in the 3rd division.
The Associação Académica de Coimbra's (AAC) greatest football achievement was the 1939 Portuguese Cup, where it defeated Benfica in a memorable final. Furthermore, Académica has won the Second Division twice (1948/49 and 1972/73) and the National Junior Championship three times.
In principle, the phrase on this mural indicates a critical tone directed at those who only appear to support the team when good sporting results appear.
