GRAFFITEA CHESTE

Graffitea es un proyecto promovido por la Concejalía de Cultura del Ayuntamiento de Cheste que integra varias acciones con un eje vertebrador: el Arte Urbano. En su mayor parte, la programación del festival incluye intervenciones plásticas murales en distintos puntos del municipio; por otra parte, contempla diferentes actividades, como conferencias, mesas redondas, proyecciones y talleres prácticos.

En la plaza del mercado contamos con con dos artistas invitados de prestigio, Sabek y E1000, que nos dejaron 2 obras muy representativas de su trabajo personal.

Este proyecto pone en valor las obras de artistas urbanos contemporáneos y persigue la divulgación histórico-cultural de esta modalidad artística, así como la transformación de zonas de la localidad, que se convierten en ventanas abiertas al arte y la cultura.

Desde 2017, Graffitea forma parte de la Red de Centros de Arte Contemporáneo en el Entorno Rural, promovida por la Agencia Valenciana de Turismo de la Generalitat Valenciana, posicionándose como referente artístico tanto en la Comunidad Valenciana como a nivel nacional.

En los últimos años, el proyecto Graffitea se ha consolidado y convertido en un festival de referencia, con más de 100 intervenciones de gran valor artístico que han convertido a Cheste en un museo al aire libre.

Desde 2021, Tarasca Turisme se suma al proyecto Graffitea, con la intención de ofrecer una ruta muralística de calidad y estable, poniendo en valor todo el patrimonio artístico y consolidando Cheste como una opción cultural de primer orden. De este modo, planificaremos recorridos y pondremos a disposición de todos aquellos amantes del arte urbano la opción de disfrutar con nuestras visitas guiadas y descubrir la oferta cultural de Cheste.

Os proponemos un Calendario Regular con visitas en Cheste, pero también se pueden concertar visitas guiadas para cualquier día de la semana, grupos mínimos de 20 personas.

For the most part, the festival program includes plastic mural interventions in different parts of the municipality; On the other hand, it includes different activities, such as conferences, round tables, screenings and practical workshops.

In the  market square  we had two prestigious guest artists,  Sabek and E1000 , who left us 2 very representative works of their personal work.

This project highlights the works of contemporary urban artists and pursues the  historical-cultural dissemination  of this artistic modality, as well as the transformation of areas of the town, which become windows open to art and culture.

Since 2017, Graffitea has been part of the  Network of Contemporary Art Centers in the Rural Environment , promoted by the Valencian Tourism Agency of the Generalitat Valenciana, positioning itself as an artistic reference both in the Valencian Community and nationally.

In recent years, the Graffitea project has consolidated and become a benchmark festival, with more than 100 interventions of great artistic value that have turned Cheste into an open-air museum.

Since 2021,  Tarasca Turisme  has joined the Graffitea project, with the intention of offering a quality and stable mural route, highlighting all the artistic heritage and consolidating Cheste as a first-rate cultural option. In this way, we will plan tours and make available to all those who love urban art the option of enjoying our  guided tours  and discovering the cultural offerings of Cheste.

We propose a  Regular Calendar  with visits to Cheste, but guided tours can also be arranged for any day of the week, minimum groups of 20 people.
