The concept of the work is a reflection of the relationship between society and the individual. Like the hounds in the image, we are all alike as one when we do work together for the common good. Modern lifestyles further unify us - fashion trends, the need to follow opinion leaders, and the persecution of dissent make us virtually clones. Nevertheless, people who stand out from the general mass have not gone anywhere. Their vision of the world is completely different, it's as if they live in another dimension, while remaining part of society - like one of the hounds looking in the opposite direction. And it is wonderful, because in the end, it is these people who give us works of art, new technologies, motivation to live on and constantly evolve.
All people are equal, but all people are different - the idea I wanted to convey.
The image of a dog was not chosen by chance. A dog is an animal that is born to live in a pack, so I wanted to reinforce the allegory with Man, who cannot exist without society. Also, the dog is associated with protection, reliability and defense. Hence the title of the work.
