Created as part of the 2015 edition of the street art festival Graffiti Boom 06, this artwork is located on the side wall of the Cheb Gymnasium sports hall, directly adjacent to the local planetarium. The location serves a strong educational and didactic purpose, offering generations of students an artistic representation of humanity's messages to the universe.
Set against a dark, starry background representing the infinity of space, the mural incorporates several iconic cosmic communication designs:
Pioneer Plaque: Prominently featured on the right side, it shows line drawings of a human male and female alongside the schematic location of the Sun relative to 14 pulsars and the center of the Milky Way, as well as the layout of the Solar System.
Arecibo Message: Rendered vertically on the left side in pixelated graphics, this section recreates the famous 1974 interstellar radio message transmitted from the Arecibo Observatory, displaying binary-encoded details about human DNA, atomic numbers of key elements, the human figure, and the dish antenna.
Color Spectrum: On the far right edge, a vertical color gradient strip symbolizes the light spectrum used by astronomers to observe celestial bodies across the cosmos
