Description
En esta pintura se puede ver un paisaje perteneciente a Cartagena Oeste, en la época de floración del almendro. En él podemos ver un antiguo pastor que descansa apoyado en el árbol y junto a la planta del garbancillo. Sin embargo su rebaño no se aprecia, solamente una oveja que aún queda esperando al otro lado del mural junto a una abubilla.
Es un símbolo de cómo los antiguos oficios van desapareciendo pero el paisaje sigue permaneciendo como tal.
This painting depicts a landscape of Western Cartagena during the almond blossom season. In it, we can see an ancient shepherd resting, leaning against the tree next to the garbancillo plant. However, his flock is not visible; only a sheep is still waiting on the other side of the mural next to a hoopoe.
It is a symbol of how ancient trades are disappearing, but the landscape remains unchanged.
