Message in a Bottle

This was a collaborative project, working with Carlisle United Sports Trust, to renovate and beautify the trinity underpass.
Beardy Synergy say "The piece is designed to explore our impact on oceans, looking at how we held the ocean in reverence through the fear of old gods, now with that reverence/respect eroded, what does that mean for sea life as we take on the mantle of custodians of their domain. We played around with this idea of messages in bottles alongside this, reconceptualising that narrative with a more modern pop art inspired twist, with around 240 bottles stencilled across the wall."
