Before this work, these walls located in Rúa Baixa, in the area called Catro Portas de Carballo (one of the main points of access of Carballo to Coruña) stood out for its bad appearance.
The main objective of Paula Fraile when facing this wall was to embellish it, but in a way that managed to integrate in it and turn around the imperfections that it presented, the deterioration, the humidity, including even other existing elements such as advertising posters that were preserved or the windows of the building. She took advantage of those dampness and painted on them, using colors from lighter to darker, depending on the wear and tear of the wall. The idea that she gets with the geometric shapes that appear throughout the mural and the multitude of bright colors, results in an unrealistic scene that tends to psychedelia. Paula Fraile, together with Roberta Venanzi, were the coordinators at the beginning of the project and the organizers of a large team of artists who joined the "Derrubando muros con pintura" initiative.
