Commissioned by The Street in partnership with the City Renewal Authority, this artwork on the side of The Street Theatre is a reference to Shakespeare's Hamley, where Hamlet's hand holds a skill and exclaims "Alas, poor Yorick!" Except its symbolism is a reference to the comedy and tragedy of COVID-19, with the artist pictured in a face mask.
(Theatre) injects colours into the monochrome of our lives.
