Hackett Community Mural

A collaborative community mural developed by the local school and community organisation, painted for the refurbished Hackett Community Oval pavilion. The artwork includes the qualities of the area, including its connections to Mt Majura, being intergenerational and multicultural, and the liveliness of the community oval and local shops. This mural is the replacement of a former community mural which was removed without prior community consultation.
