Lobo Marinho

Bordalo II made this mural entitled Lobo Marinho (Sea Lion). He used materials that were taken out of sea during a campaign to clean up Caniçal Bay.
Around 20 divers promoted an awareness campaign against trash deposited at the bottom of the sea. This was part of a cleaning campaign in which 35 entities participated, mobilising several hundred people (firefighters, diving schools, clubs, associations, schools and anonymous people), and cleanings were organised at the bottom of the sea and on beaches. Four tons of rubbish (nets, tires, buckets, iron and various plastics) were collected.
