INMARCESIBLE

 Flowers, bouquets are one of those elements that have accompanied the success of artists' work, especially in theater and dance. The public's gratitude towards his work materialized in something as fragile, beautiful and perishable as a handful of flowers. 

A familiar image for all is the delivery of that present at the end of the show, but also throwing them from the stands onto the stage like an explosion of emotion. 

A gesture that has transcended borders and that ended up becoming a tradition, so that large schools and dance companies (The Royal Ballet of London) have a strict protocol to carry out the delivery of these flowers and turn it into an act of transcendent importance. 

In this mural, the dance is narrated in a poetic way, with the presence of those flowers; but in such a way that they themselves seem to dance in a balance, making them in turn emerge from their own body and become that moment of fragility, strength and beauty. 

The body in a slight tension wraps the bouquet in a contained pause, its feet recount the possibilities of the dance from the nudity of contemporary dance to the subtlety of the points that caress the stage in classical ballet. While his hands draw the gesture of that pause that surrenders instantly to the applause, this time silent, but eternal, that was part of his memory.
