In 2016, a contemporary art museum opened in the centre of Brussels, on the territory of Molenbeek. The MIMA : Millennium Iconoclast Museum of Art.

At the dawn of the millennium, the communication revolution is generating a new social paradigm in which social networks are redefining the relationship between artists and society. These boundary-pushing artists, with their multidisciplinary prowess, empathetic vibes and infectious appeal, are rewriting cultural norms. In Belgium, MIMA plays the role of Pygmalion for these iconoclastic actors.
