Inkie

Description

Originally painted by Bristol legend Inkie during the iconic See No Evil festival in 2012, this mural became one of Nelson Street's defining artworks. Only months after its completion, part of the piece was accidentally removed during cleaning works, leaving it incomplete for nearly a decade. In 2022, Inkie returned to restore the mural, faithfully recreating the original while introducing vibrant new elements. The restoration formed part of the Everards Printworks redevelopment, celebrating both Bristol's rich graffiti heritage and the lasting cultural impact of the See No Evil project, which transformed Nelson Street into an internationally recognised open-air gallery.
