Brim Silo Art

Brim has the honour of having the first silo artworkto be completed in the Wimmera-Mallee region and the second to be completed in the Australian Silo Art Trail. The Brim mural infused the town and region of the Mallee with new found energy. It offered anticipation of positive growth and prosperity for the surrounding farmers and families of the area and was the beginning of the Silo Art Trail in Victoria.

The mural was completed in early 2016 by artist Guido van Helten. The faces on the mural are anonymous, but they are said to portray a multi-generational quartet of farmers both male and female who show the strength and resilience that is required to be a country Victorian farmer.
