Mural made by Galician artist Tayone for Fenda Festival. It is an unexpected burst of colourful shapes and intricate designs. Tayone is a visual artist from Vigo. He crafts his art through painting, illustration, sculpture, and impactful murals. His work isn't just about aesthetics; it's a medium of communication that weaves a sublime reality around us.
"It has been inspired by the quantum of plastic processes that occur in the urban environment and its architecture, as layers of history that overlap with the passage of time - the definitive artist - particularly interesting in Portugal. I read somewhere that geometry is the language of time. In the same way that muralism is the cosmetics of architecture. So I approached the mural as an improvisation game in which the composition would be rearranged by unravelling layers, as part and anticipation of my current process."
