A LARGE BEETHOVEN FAÇADE PAINTING WELCOMES THE BONN VISITORS
at the level crossing Weberstraße just before the main station. The 8 x 13 meter "Mural" was created by the 27-year-old graffiti artist "Aphe" alias Sven Oliver Hollatz.
Bonn citizen Edith Bosau initiated the project as a new member of BÜRGER FÜR BEETHOVEN as a special gift from citizens. Chairman Stephan Eisel expressed his thanks: "It is precisely such civic initiatives that we need to profile Bonn as the city of Beethoven.
The title of the artwork "The city moves him and he moves the city" aptly describes Beethoven's attachment to his homeland and unerringly indicates the direction in which Bonn must go as a Beethoven city."
