Dolly's Donuts

Based on a photograph taken by the Salvation Army during World War I, this artwork symbolise a simple fried pastry, delivered to American troops in France and helped changed their attitude to war. Women baked and distributed thousands of doughnuts during the war, and is captured in the back wall of Dolly's Donuts.
