A Life in the Year of the Chinchillas

Picadilly Arcade, once upon a time a cinema, is now a small shopping centre for independent shops. When it was renovated in 1989, the artist Paul Maxfield was commissioned to paint a series of murals. These are known as A Life in the Year of the Chinchillas. As you look up at the murals, you will realise that you, in turn, are being watched by the characters in the artwork!
