Artiste gardois, l'Insecte, dans cette fresque illustre la ville de Bessèges et son passé industriel avec ses usines sidérurgiques de tubes. Ce passé révolu est emporté par un renard symbole de la vallée de la Cèze.

A local artist, L'Insecte's fresco illustrates the town of Bessèges and its industrial past, with its steel tube factories. This bygone past is carried away by a fox, symbol of the Cèze valley.

The Intercommunal Museum of Open and Urban Art, known as MI.A.O.U., is an association that has been developing an urban art trail in the Cévennes tourist region since 2019 - in Bessèges and surrounding villages (northern Gard - France). Our circuit is a discovery trail in the Cévennes National Park and welcomes artists throughout the year to create frescoes.
