Dave the Chimp, well known creator of his kidney-characters, also painted this wall near a playground in Berlin-Kreuzberg
Hidden behind the houses of Adalbertstraße 71, facing the children’s farm across from the Bethanien grounds, this large and playful mural brings a touch of cartoon absurdity to the neighborhood. A relaxed cow smokes its pipe beside a small orange house, while a cloud cheekily licks the smiling sun — turning the sky into a living, laughing creature. Created in 2013, the work reflects Dave the Chimp’s signature humor and his belief that art should make people, especially children, smile.
